With a dead body laying between them, two men wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw" by the police because of his unusual calling card. He is known as a psychopath who believes that the people are not living their lives the way they should. He believes that they are being taken for granted, this is why he comes down to punishing them, but gives them a chance to live.

Paranormal Activity

Paranormal activity is based on true events which took place in a house. The woman claimed that the paranormal activities began taking place when she was 8 years old.
This film is set in the suburbs.
A desperate couple who took risks just to catch a deadly entity, they manage took catch footage of these taking place. The reason they began recording these footage is to prove to the audience that these events are following her wherever she goes.

Freshy Hit's England 2

This is our new and improved preliminary task. We have made many improvements and corrections by evaluating our first preliminary task. We have improved the way we handle the camera along with the tripod itself. Every camera angle we believe was perfect. The only mistake that was made was when there was a slight zooming in between the conversation between the freshy and the interview woman but overall, everything was going great.
we had got different actresses who seemed very confident and happy to act. It took us under an hour. we were pressured as we had limited time but successfully, we managed to complete it.
The editing was really straight-forward. Transitions along with font/text adding was simple. We had managed to complete the whole preliminary exercise in one whole hour. Thank god!

Freshy Hit's England 1

This was our first preliminary task that we had to do. we made another one because we realized that we had many mistakes on our first one but we managed to improve the task in the end. The problems that we had were that the tripod wasn't leveled, the camera angles were not perfectly horizontal. The audience was confused on were the camera was set. there were many distractions with other students which made it difficult to concentrate. We now have made a corrected version of our preliminary task.

This movie is called constantine. it is based on evil forces such as Jinns and angels taking away people's souls and exorcism. it is really scary and the trailer even demonstrates it.

there are always typical characters such as ladies being possessed and men who are the heroes. the establishing shots show places such as mexico, letting the viewers know where the problem is and what is happening

it could help us on our movie by giving us ideas. we could have someone possessed in our production or maybe even a hero. however, it is only an opening scene. we cold maybe start it off with someone getting possessed and who seeks help. either way, it is effective and will work

This film is really popular. It is because it is based on a true story. The genre of this film is horror. it shows the opening of the Amityville horror. the establishing shots show that it is based on a true story. it uses writing to show the viewers what it is based on "A True Story". Other things such as location, lighting, etc is very intriging.

There are typical characters such as an abusing dad, a little girl and boy, their mother whois stressed etc.
the location is in a rural place with just the house.

This clip demonstrates the features of what we will use for our own movie. It gives us ideas of what type of props to use, where to film it, how the characters will be like, the lighting, the location etc.
